Position Overview
RapidCents is looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager with a strong background in lead generation, sales, and customer acquisition. This individual will play a critical role in identifying new business opportunities, managing leads, and closing sales to drive our growth. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years of sales experience and a proven track record in generating and converting leads into long-term customers. Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and Generate Leads: Identify, qualify, and build a pipeline of prospective customers through various channels, including outbound calls, emails, social media, networking, and attending industry events.
- Sales and Customer Acquisition: Develop and execute strategies to convert leads into paying customers, effectively communicating the value of RapidCents’ solutions.
- Manage the Sales Cycle: Guide leads through each stage of the sales funnel, from initial contact through negotiation, closing, and onboarding.
- Develop Strong Relationships: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by providing expert advice and exceptional service.
- Market and Industry Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging needs to position RapidCents as a leader in payment solutions.
- Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer success teams to align sales strategies and ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new clients.
- Meet and Exceed Sales Targets: Set and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals, contributing to the company’s revenue and growth objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of sales experience, ideally in the payments, financial services, or technology sector.
- Proven Sales Record: Demonstrated success in lead generation, sales, and closing deals, with a history of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and compelling way.
- Customer-Oriented: Skilled in building relationships and delivering a customer-centric sales approach.
- Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Ability to identify market opportunities and adapt sales strategies to changing trends.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using CRM tools, lead generation software, and other sales enablement tools.
- Self-Motivated and Goal-Oriented: Highly driven, with the ability to work independently and maintain focus on targets.
