Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team in Markham, ON. This is a full-time, in-person role that requires proactive client engagement, both virtually and through on-site visits. As a key player in our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, and driving revenue growth in the fintech, software, and payment processing industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the fintech, SaaS, and payment processing sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, merchants, and strategic partners.
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Conduct in-person and virtual meetings with potential clients, requiring frequent travel within the designated region.
  • Negotiate contracts, close deals, and ensure seamless client onboarding.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to optimize sales strategies.
  • Maintain up-to-date records in CRM software and provide regular sales reports.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Sales and Business Development within the fintech, SaaS, software, or payment processing industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • In-depth understanding of online payment processing, e-commerce, and B2B sales.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a high-performance team.
  • On-site role – this is not a remote or hybrid position.
  • Transportation required for client visits and merchant meetings.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales reporting tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
