🧪 About the Role
We’re looking for a Technical Application Tester who thrives on detail, speed, and quality. You’ll be responsible for end-to-end testing across our Dashboards, SDKs, Mobile Apps, Plugins, and Core Platform, ensuring everything we ship is secure, stable, and intuitive.

🔍 What You’ll Be Testing
- Merchant Dashboards (subscriptions, analytics, transaction flows, fraud prevention tools, etc.)
- Frontend and Backend APIs for payments, customers, invoices, and accounts
- SDKs (JavaScript/TypeScript, PHP, Python, etc.) – testing integration flows, 3DS, tokenization
- Plugins (e.g. BigCommerce, WooCommerce) – functional and compatibility testing
- Mobile Apps – reliability, responsiveness, performance, and device/browser edge cases
- Authentication & Authorization – multi-role access, OAuth, MFA, session control
- Security Scenarios – input validation, rate limits, data exposure, and basic OWASP risks
- Cross-browser, Cross-platform Testing – Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, iOS/Android
- Multi-tenant Behaviors – data isolation, account switching, and permission handling
✅ Your Responsibilities
- Write, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Test all aspects of functionality, usability, reliability, security, and performance
- Own testing workflows across the full SDLC — from PRs to production
- Help build and maintain automated test suites (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or equivalent)
- Validate RESTful API endpoints using tools like Postman or Insomnia
- Simulate and report real-world edge cases, race conditions, concurrency bugs, etc.
- Review code changes and proactively identify risky or untested areas
- Identify, log, and triage bugs using tools like Jira, Linear, or GitHub Issues
- Contribute to test strategy for CI/CD pipelines and regression coverage
🛠️ Must-Have Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of experience in QA, application testing, or software development
- Strong grasp of modern web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, DevTools)
- Experience testing SDKs or APIs as a consumer (developer mindset a plus!)
- Familiarity with testing plugins or extensions in CMS/E-commerce platforms
- Understanding of mobile testing best practices (manual or automated)
- Experience with tools like Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, Appium, Postman, Charles Proxy
- Basic understanding of security testing – XSS, CSRF, SSRF, broken auth
- Ability to write clear, concise, and reproducible bug reports
- Comfortable navigating developer tools, logs, browser consoles, network inspectors
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with developers and PMs

- Experience testing multi-tenant SaaS applications
- Background in payments, fintech, or eCommerce integrations
- Experience with load/performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter, k6, Locust)
- Familiarity with accessibility testing (WCAG, Axe, Lighthouse)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar
- Understanding of backend testing concepts (e.g. unit, integration, contract testing)
