Respond with evidence, on time

Answer disputes with the evidence already in your account

Chargeback Protection turns a dispute deadline into a process. When a dispute is raised RapidCents sends an alert while there is still time to respond, assembles the transaction, authorization and available delivery or service detail into an evidence pack, and tracks what is due and when across every open case. Reason-code guidance explains what the issuer is actually asking for, and win-rate reporting by reason code shows which disputes are worth contesting at all.

Questions about Chargeback Protection

Can every dispute be won?

No. Some reason codes are rarely winnable, which is why outcome reporting matters: it shows where a response is worth the effort.

How much time do I have?

Deadlines are set by the card networks. Alerts and deadline tracking exist so a response is not missed.

What evidence is included?

Transaction, authorization and available delivery or service detail, plus anything you add.

Does prevention help?

Yes. Fraud Prevention and 3-D Secure reduce how many disputes reach this stage.

How is this different from Fraud Prevention?

Fraud Prevention screens transactions before they settle and so reduces how many disputes ever arrive. Chargeback Protection handles the ones that arrive anyway: the alert, the evidence pack, the deadline and the outcome.

Can I add my own evidence to the pack?

Yes, and it is usually what decides the case. RapidCents assembles the transaction, authorization and available delivery or service detail; you review it, add the context only your business has, and submit before the deadline.

Who gets the alert and who is allowed to respond?

You decide. Role-based access with audit trails controls who can see a dispute and who can submit a response, so a case is not answered twice or left for somebody who never saw the alert.

What does responding to a dispute cost?

The card networks charge a fee per chargeback case, set by the network. The tools that alert, assemble and track come with the RapidCents processing account, whose pricing depends on volume, card mix and configuration.
