Payment products for businesses in the USA

RapidCents payment products for businesses in the USA cover accepting a payment, billing a customer, managing the account and reconciling the result. Choose by who enters the payment: staff, the customer, or a terminal at the counter. Confirm USA account eligibility, software compatibility, currency and commercial terms before you select a product.

Accept payments

RapidCents in-person and online acceptance products — terminals, Tap to Pay, hosted checkout, payment links, invoicing and recurring billing — run on one merchant account, so a counter sale and a payment link settle together.

Manage payments

RapidCents management products put settlements, disputes, reporting, multi-location views and Centa in one dashboard instead of a portal per channel.

Find the right products

Choose the RapidCents product by how you get paid: at the counter, online, by phone, or inside existing software. Each path lands on the same merchant account.

Take the next step

Talk to a RapidCents specialist

RapidCents Fee Check reads a processing statement and shows interchange separately from the markup. Upload a statement for an instant breakdown, or open a merchant account and start accepting payments on one account.

For businesses in the USA

How a U.S. merchant picks a product without treating every capability as included.

  • Accept, bill, manage, reconcile

The products on this page do four jobs for a business in the USA: accept a payment, bill for one, manage what happened, and reconcile it to the sale. A terminal, a hosted checkout, a payment link and a virtual terminal are not interchangeable. Start with the job, then open the product page that owns it.

  • Who enters the payment

Staff-entered, customer-entered and in-person payments are different workflows. An employee keying a phone order uses a virtual terminal. A customer paying an invoice online uses a payment link or hosted checkout. A counter sale uses a terminal. Pick the category that matches the person who enters the card details.

  • What to confirm

Before selecting products, confirm USA account eligibility, software compatibility, presentment and settlement currency, and the commercial terms. A product page explains the workflow. It does not approve the account or set your rate. Use the related product links on this index to compare neighbouring jobs rather than treating the catalogue as one bundle.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a separate account for each product?

No. Terminals and POS, the gateway and hosted checkout, payment links, invoicing, recurring billing, tokenization and reporting all run on one RapidCents merchant account. Adding a channel is not a second application or a second contract; the account underwritten for in-person acceptance carries the online volume.

How are the products priced?

Processing is priced interchange-plus: the card networks’ interchange and assessments pass through at cost and the RapidCents markup is a separate line on the statement. Hardware is priced separately from processing and is available to purchase or to lease. The pricing page sets out the schedule, and Fee Check reads your current statement against it.

Which product should I use for phone payments?

Use the virtual terminal when an authorized employee enters the payment. Use a payment link when the customer should enter their own details on a hosted page. They are different workflows. Open both product pages before you choose.

Which product should I use for online checkout?

Compare hosted checkout with the other verified integration options, including the payment gateway and embedded payments pages. The right one depends on who hosts the page and how your software connects. Link only to the option your implementation can actually use.

Can products share customer and reporting records?

Some records can be shared when the products are enabled on the same account and the connection has been tested. Do not assume every product writes to the same customer profile. Confirm the shared fields and any separate setup during implementation.
