Enterprise Partnerships

An enterprise engagement starts with an organization whose processing requirements are already defined: multiple entities or locations, an existing acquiring relationship, procurement, a security review and negotiated terms. Two tracks run in parallel. The diligence track works through PCI evidence for the processing environment, subprocessors, data processing terms and the disclosure route, then through data flow, because the integration design decides which self-assessment questionnaire applies. The implementation track covers current-state discovery, token mapping, parallel running, training and a staged cutover scheduled around trading rather than a launch date.

In detail

  • Procurement and security review

PCI evidence for the processing environment, the subprocessor categories and what each can reach, data processing terms and a disclosure route are published, so a review can begin before a commercial conversation does. The register naming each provider is obtained through the route the subprocessors page sets out.

  • Data flow decides scope

Whether card data touches the organization’s own systems determines which self-assessment questionnaire applies and how much internal infrastructure comes into scope. Bring the intended integration design to the review.

  • Migration across an existing estate

Current-state discovery, token mapping where stored credentials can move and re-collection planning where they cannot, parallel running, training and a staged cutover scheduled around trading hours.

  • Reporting across entities and locations

Multi-location and multi-entity operations need settlement and transaction reporting that rolls up and breaks down, because a consolidated figure nobody can decompose creates work rather than removing it.

  • Interchange-plus at scale

Separating interchange from markup is what keeps cost auditable as volume grows. Under a bundled rate, a rise in the effective rate cannot be attributed to a repricing or to a change in card mix.

  • Support and escalation boundary in writing

Who owns which part of support, how an escalation travels and what each side commits to operationally. Enterprise agreements are where this is settled explicitly rather than assumed.

Questions about Enterprise Partnerships

How is access controlled across a large team?

By role. Permissions decide who can see what, who can charge a stored payment method and who can issue a refund. Multi-factor authentication is required for merchants reaching RapidCents systems. Merchant data is logically separated between merchants, and access to merchant data by authorized RapidCents staff is logged.

Can settlement detail reach our finance system automatically?

Signed webhook events carry authorization, capture, refund, dispute and settlement outcomes as they happen, and deposit-level reporting ties a settlement back to the transactions behind it for export. Build the receiving side to be idempotent: the same event can arrive more than once, and a duplicated journal entry is harder to find than a missing one.

Can each entity’s deposits land in its own bank account?

Deposits arrive in the business bank account nominated for the merchant account they settle against, so the deposit account follows the merchant account: sites sharing one merchant account share one deposit account, and an entity with a merchant account of its own has a deposit account of its own.

What about settlement in another currency?

Settlement in US dollars is the standard case. Multi-currency acceptance and settlement is a separate product decision, and the specific currencies and the accounts you want them settled into should be confirmed during setup rather than assumed from a capability list.

Where does liability sit on an authenticated online transaction?

3-D Secure shifts fraud chargeback liability when the issuer authenticates the cardholder. RapidCents triggers it by rule — on amount, on geography, on a risk signal — rather than on every transaction, so the liability shift is available where it earns its place without a challenge screen in front of routine sales.
