A compact terminal with a tactile PIN pad for checkouts that need real buttons
The Rivo Link is a compact terminal with a backlit tactile keypad and dedicated OK and cancel keys, for checkouts where the PIN is entered on real buttons rather than glass. A bright colour display shows the amount due in unmissable type, then animated prompts guide the tap or the insert. It supports full EMV and contactless, connects over Wi-Fi or 4G, issues digital receipts, and RapidCents injects keys and manages the fleet remotely.

The keypad
Real keys, for the customers who want them
Some people will not enter a PIN on glass, and some staff key amounts faster than they can read a screen. The backlit pad has dedicated accept and cancel keys you can find without looking, which is the whole argument for it.

The screen
One amount, one instruction
The colour display shows what is owed and what to do next, and nothing else. On a small device that restraint is what keeps a queue moving.

The size
Goes where the sale is
It fits one hand, which matters at a table, a window or a market stall more than any specification does. The smallest of the three, and the one that leaves the counter most often.
The other RapidCents terminals
Same platform, same pricing, same dashboard. The choice is about the hardware.
All major card brands: Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, PIN debit

Questions about Rivo Link
What does the Rivo Link accept?+
Tap, chip and swipe, with full EMV and contactless support. The PIN is entered on the physical backlit keypad rather than on glass.
Does it need internet?+
It connects over Wi-Fi or 4G, so losing one leaves the other. With no connectivity at all, store-and-forward depends on the device and its configuration, and your advisor confirms what applies to your account.
What happens if it gets dropped?+
The Rivo Link is a compact handheld and does not carry the drop-resistant silicone armour of the Rivo Go. Where terminals get dropped regularly, ask about the Rivo Go. A damaged Rivo Link is replaced through your advisor.
How is a terminal replaced?+
Your RapidCents advisor arranges it, and the turnaround, the shipping and the treatment of a damaged unit are worth confirming in writing before you need them. The replacement ships pre-provisioned to your merchant account and needs only a short activation and a test transaction before it takes a sale.
Why choose the Rivo Link over the Rivo Touch?+
The keypad. The Rivo Link enters the PIN on backlit physical keys with dedicated OK and cancel, which suits customers who will not use glass and staff who key faster than they read. The Rivo Touch is the all-screen device instead.
Does it print receipts?+
The Rivo Link issues digital receipts and runs its prompts on screen, which takes paper out of the exchange. Where a printed receipt is required at the counter, the Rivo Go carries a thermal printer inside.
Will it work at a service window or a market stall?+
Yes. It is compact enough to work one-handed where there is no counter to spare, and it connects over Wi-Fi or 4G, so a truck window, a table or a curbside handoff all take a card the same way.
How is the Rivo Link priced?+
As hardware plus processing, quoted separately. The device can be owned or rented, processing can be interchange-plus or bundled, and the agreement can be month-to-month or a term. Keys are injected remotely, so a new unit does not have to be sent away to be prepared.
RapidCents Fee Check reads a processing statement and shows interchange separately from the markup. Upload a statement for an instant breakdown, or open a merchant account and start accepting payments on one account.
