Frequently asked questions
Which document is the actual contract?
The RapidCents Services Agreement, published at /legal/terms, is the agreement that governs a merchant account. The other documents on this page are either incorporated into it by a named clause — the Acceptable Use Policy at clause B.5, for example — or explain one part of it in more detail. Where a summary page and the Agreement differ, the Agreement governs.
Does RapidCents charge a cancellation or early termination fee?
No. Clause A.4 of the Services Agreement states it as policy and clause F.1.2 states it as a term: there is no early termination fee and no penalty for closing an account, at any point in the term. The Refund and Cancellation Policy sets out what is and is not owed when an account closes.
How do I know which version of a document applies to me?
Every document carries an effective date and a last-updated date in its header. The version in force on the date of the event you are asking about is the one that applies. Material changes to the Services Agreement are notified to the email address on your account, as the Electronic Communications Consent describes.
Who do I contact with a question about one of these documents?
Write to [email protected] or call +1 (844) 957-2743. For a privacy request, use the contact set out in the Privacy Policy; for a security report, follow the Vulnerability Disclosure Policy.
