A flagship Android smart terminal with a thermal printer and an armoured body
The Rivo Go is a full-touch HD Android smart terminal in a drop-resistant silicone jacket, with a high-speed thermal receipt printer, 4G LTE and dual-band Wi-Fi built in. It reads contactless along the top edge, EMV chip at the base and magstripe down the side, and captures tip, signature and digital receipt on its own screen, so a counter needs no second device. It arrives pre-provisioned to a RapidCents merchant account and is PCI PTS certified.

The screen
A display your customer can read across the counter
The amount sits in type large enough to read at arm's length, and the prompts move in the order a customer expects: amount, tap, done. Tipping and signature happen on the same screen, so nobody is handed a second device.

The case
Built for a counter, not a desk
The blue silicone jacket is the part staff actually notice: it grips when hands are wet, it takes the knocks a busy service throws at it, and the wedge stand means the terminal sits at a readable angle instead of flat on the counter.

The top edge
Tap lands where hands already go
The contactless zone runs along the top edge, which is where a customer holds a card or a phone without being told. Chip goes in at the base and stripe down the side, so all three ways of paying have their own place and none of them needs explaining.
The other RapidCents terminals
Same platform, same pricing, same dashboard. The choice is about the hardware.
All major card brands: Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, PIN debit
Who it's for
High-volume counters
Lanes that run all day and need the receipt printed on the spot.
Rooms that are hard on hardware
Places where a terminal gets knocked, dropped and set down wet.
Staff who want one device
Payment, tip, signature and receipt on a single Android terminal.
Core capabilities
Tap, chip and swipe
NFC contactless along the top edge, EMV chip at the base, magstripe down the side.
Thermal receipt printer
A high-speed thermal printer issues the receipt before the customer has put the card away.
4G LTE and dual-band Wi-Fi
Dual-band Wi-Fi with 4G LTE behind it, so the counter keeps selling when the shop's connection drops.
Full-touch HD display
The amount in bold, prompts in the order a customer expects, and a tip screen that actually gets used.
Drop-resistant armour
The signature blue silicone jacket absorbs the falls and spills of a real workday and grips in the hand.
Android platform
Apps, updates and remote device management on an Android-based platform.
Tipping, signature and digital receipts
Tip, signature and digital receipt are captured on the terminal's own screen.
PCI PTS certified
PCI PTS certification and EMV Level 1, 2 and 3, with end-to-end encryption on every transaction.
How it works
The terminal arrives pre-provisioned to your RapidCents merchant account.
Unbox it, charge it and put it on Wi-Fi, or let 4G LTE carry the lane.
Sign in and run a test sale so staff see the whole flow once before a customer does.
Take the first live sale: key the amount, the customer taps, inserts or swipes, and the printer issues the receipt.
Close the batch at day end; the sale settles and appears in the merchant dashboard.

Questions about Rivo Go
What does the Rivo Go accept?+
Tap, chip and swipe. Contactless reads along the top edge, the EMV chip goes in at the base and magstripe runs down the side, so all three ways of paying have their own place on the device.
Does it still work when the internet drops?+
It carries dual-band Wi-Fi and 4G LTE, so it moves to cellular when the shop's connection fails. For an outage with no connectivity at all, store-and-forward depends on the device and its configuration, and your advisor confirms what applies to your setup.
What happens when it gets dropped?+
That is what the blue silicone jacket is for. It is drop-resistant armour meant to take the falls and spills of a busy service, and it grips when hands are wet.
How is a damaged terminal replaced?+
Your RapidCents advisor arranges it, and the terms worth settling in writing beforehand are the turnaround, who pays the shipping, and whether a damaged unit is repaired or billed. Whatever ships arrives pre-provisioned to your merchant account, so staff complete a short activation and a test transaction and the lane is selling again.
How does the Rivo Go differ from the Rivo Touch and the Rivo Link?+
The Go is the armoured one with a thermal printer inside. The Rivo Touch is slim and all glass, with keyed entry and payment links on its home screen but no printer or silicone jacket. The Rivo Link is compact with a backlit tactile PIN pad for customers who will not enter a PIN on glass.
Do I need a separate receipt printer?+
No. The thermal printer is inside the terminal and issues the paper receipt at the counter, and the same device can send a digital receipt instead when the customer prefers one.
Can I manage several terminals and their apps remotely?+
Yes. The Rivo Go runs an Android-based platform, so apps, updates and device management are handled remotely rather than by walking to each terminal, which is what makes a fleet across locations practical.
How is the Rivo Go priced?+
Terminals are quoted as hardware and processing separately. Hardware can be owned outright or rented per device, processing can be interchange-plus or bundled, and the agreement can be month-to-month or a term. Ask your advisor for all three in writing.
RapidCents Fee Check reads a processing statement and shows interchange separately from the markup. Upload a statement for an instant breakdown, or open a merchant account and start accepting payments on one account.
