Low-PCI checkout pages

Branded hosted checkout pages with minimal integration effort

Hosted checkout is a payment page RapidCents hosts and you send the customer to, either by redirect or embedded in an iframe, so card entry never happens on your own domain. The page carries your logo, accent colour and receipt footer, supports 3-D Secure and Apple Pay or Google Pay, and uses single-use session tokens that expire. Success, cancel and webhook callbacks tell your order system what happened, and PCI scope narrows compared with a custom card form.

  • Launch checkout in days not months
  • Branded page with your logo and colors
  • Reduced PCI scope vs custom card forms

Questions about Hosted Checkout

Redirect or iframe?

Redirect is recommended for simplest PCI scope. Iframe available for embedded UX.

Customize receipt email?

Yes. Configure sender name and footer compliance text.

Multiple currencies on one page?

USD settlement standard. Display currency follows session configuration.

Abandoned checkout recovery?

Webhook events include expired sessions for remarketing integrations.

Does the customer leave my website?

With redirect checkout, yes: they move to a RapidCents-hosted URL and return to your success or cancel page afterwards. An iframe embed keeps the page visually inside your site. Redirect is recommended when the simplest PCI scope is the priority, since card entry never touches your domain at all.

What happens if a customer closes the page mid-payment?

The session expires rather than staying open indefinitely, which limits the exposure of an abandoned cart. Expired sessions arrive as webhook events, so a remarketing or follow-up flow can act on them. Order state should follow the webhook, not the browser.

Can I use hosted checkout for more than product sales?

Yes. Common uses include a donation page with preset amounts, an event registration fee collected after a form submit, and an invoice balance paid from an email call-to-action. Anything that needs one amount collected once fits a hosted session.
