DEVELOPER PLATFORM

Build connected payment experiences with RapidCents

RapidCents is a payment platform software teams integrate through REST APIs, signed webhooks, Rapid.js hosted fields, SDKs and a sandbox with documented test cards. Terminal, checkout, payment-link and API payments land on the same merchant account, so reporting, refunds and settlement stay one integration.

  • Sandbox with test cards
  • Signed webhooks
  • Node and Python SDKs
  • Dedicated developer support

Quickstart

A RapidCents integration starts in sandbox: obtain test credentials, create a payment with documented test cards, verify webhook signatures, then move to production after an integration review.

  • 1. Obtain credentials

    Request sandbox access.

  • 2. Create test payment

    Use documented test cards.

  • 3. Receive webhook

    Verify signatures.

  • 4. Go production

    Guided migration.

Developer resources

Developer resources on RapidCents cover the API, webhooks, Rapid.js, plugins, sandbox, RapidBridge and the guides for connecting existing software without a second acquiring relationship.

Take the next step

Talk to a RapidCents specialist

RapidCents Fee Check reads a processing statement and shows interchange separately from the markup. Upload a statement for an instant breakdown, or open a merchant account and start accepting payments on one account.

  • No obligation
  • Payment specialists, not a call centre
  • Secure statement upload

Frequently asked questions

How do I get API credentials?

From the merchant dashboard, once the account is approved. Sandbox credentials are issued separately from production ones and work only against test data. The Developer Terms set out where each kind of key may live — a secret key on a server you control, never in a browser or an app bundle.

Can I take cards on my own checkout without expanding my PCI scope?

Yes, with Rapid.js hosted fields or the hosted checkout: the card is posted from the customer’s browser to RapidCents and never touches your server, which keeps you on SAQ A. Relaying the card through your own server moves you to SAQ D. The PCI Compliance page and the Developer Terms both explain the line.

Are webhooks delivered more than once?

They can be. Delivery is at least once, so verify the signature with your webhook secret and record the event ID so a redelivery is recognised rather than processed twice. The webhooks documentation lists the events and the signature scheme.

Is there a status page and a deprecation policy?

Yes. The status page under /developers reports platform availability, and the Developer Terms state the notice period before an API version is retired and how it is announced.
